Red hot chili pepper sauce

This sauce suits everything! Put it on the side, on the top, or use your imagination and just add it to something you already love! Smaklig måltid!

  • 1 onion medium sized
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 red bell pepper small
  • 1 red chili
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 5 tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 5 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  1. Roughly chop the onion, paprika, chili and garlic. Gently fry in oil in a medium saucepan 4 - 5 minutes.
  2. Roughly chop the tomatoes and add to the saucepan with the remaining ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
  3. Thoroughly and carefully mix the sauce (with a hand mixer or food processor) and then gently push it through a sieve using the back of a big spoon. Taste and season if desired. Transfer the sauce to a nice bottle or jar and store in the fridge.
