Hummus

Hummus is so simple to make, and sooooo good. Use your imagination and experiment by adding nuts, seeds, spices or herbs. My tip…hummus + the best bread= total satisfaction. Enjoy!

Ingredients
  • 1 can chick peas (1 can ≈ 3 dl/240g cooked chick peas)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 3/4 dl tahini
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp lemons pressed
  • 3/4 tsp cumin, ground
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper ground
  • 4 tbsp olivolja extra virgin

Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients, apart from the oil, to a food processor and pulse to combine.
  2. With the machine running, slowly pour in the oil. Check the consistency and seasoning. If you will have the hummus a little looser, you can add a little water.
  3. Serve at room temperature, and garnish with a little cumin, chili, paprika or whatever you like!
