Haricots verts with thyme and roasted almonds

  • 1/2 dl almond, sliced
  • 150 g haricot verts fresh
  • 1 garlic clove stor
  • 2 tsp thyme leaves fresh
  • 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • salt flakes
  • black pepper
  1. Spread the flaked almonds on an oven dish and bake in the oven at 180°C for 10-15 minutess or until golden brown.
  2. In a bowl, mix the crushed garlic, thyme, oil, salt and pepper and leave for 30-60 minutes.
  3. Remove the top and bottoms of the haricots verts then cook in boiling salted water for 60 seconds. Drain.
  4. Toss the warm beans in the thyme oil and let stand 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve the beans with a generous amount of the roasted almonds sprinkled over the top.
