Asian salad with spicy dressing

This dressing is very tasty, sweet and spicy. It suits a crispy tossed salad, or just simply stirred into chilled sliced cucumber. Enjoy!

  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 garlic clove stor
  • 1 tsp ginger, fresh färskriven
  • 1/2 red chilis
  • 2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 1/4 tbsp vinegar
  • 5 tbsp water
  • 3/4 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
Salad (for example):
  • haricot verts
  • spring onions
  • alfalfa sprouts
  • bell peppers
  • carrots
  • spinach, fresh
  • red onions
  • sugar
  • radish
  1. Crush the garlic and finely dice the chili.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the peanut oil then fry the garlic, ginger, chili and dried coconut for 1-2 minutes until the coconut is golden brown.
  3. Add the vinegar, water, salt and sugar and cook 1 minute then set aside to cool.
  4. Prepare a tasty colourful salad in a large bowl. Just before serving add all the dressing and toss well.
